Kris Moon Joins a21 as Chief Operating Officer

MIAMI, October 25, 2024 (BUSINESS WATCH GLOBAL) – a21, a full-service live experiences agency, has announced the appointment of Kris Moon as Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective January 2025.

According to a21, Moon’s new role will include overseeing all operational divisions within a21, managing the executive team, and contributing to the overall financial performance of the company. He will work alongside Brett Friedman, a21’s Founder and CEO, to support the acquisition of new assets and the firm’s planned expansion into Canadian and European markets.

Friedman commented on the appointment, saying, “Kris joining our executive leadership team, with his years of culinary aptitude and industry relationships, provides us a tangible foundation to accelerate our growth as leaders within the events industry.”

Before joining a21, Moon served as President and COO of the James Beard Foundation, where he oversaw the growth of the foundation’s revenue from just over $6 million in 2011 to more than $21 million in 2024.
