The Estée Lauder Companies Announces Leadership Transition in North America

NEW YORK, September 30, 2024 (BUSINESS WATCH GLOBAL)The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. (NYSE: EL) has announced a leadership transition in its North American division. After over 28 years with the company, Mark Loomis, Group President of North America, will retire at the end of fiscal year 2025. Loomis will be succeeded by Tara Simon as President of North America and Amber English as President of Digital and Online, North America, effective January 1, 2025.

Simon will be responsible for overseeing the company’s brick-and-mortar strategy across various retail channels, including department stores and specialty retailers. Since joining the company in 2020, Simon has served as Global Brand President of California Brands, managing Too Faced and Smashbox. According to the company, she will lead efforts to expand consumer reach and engagement.

English, in her new role as President of Digital and Online, North America, will focus on advancing the company’s digital-first transformation strategy. Since joining Estée Lauder in 2022, English has helped develop digital experiences for consumers and overseeing eCommerce activities. She previously led Amazon’s Fashion Private Brands business globally.

Loomis, who guided Estée Lauder’s North American and Asia-Pacific strategies, will work with Simon and English through the transition before his retirement. The company has not yet announced Simon's successor for her previous role overseeing California brands.
