ATLANTA, February 5, 2025 (BUSINESS WATCH GLOBAL) — Supply chain automation company Dematic has appointed Sowmya Ananthachary as Vice President of Americas Software, where she will oversee a team of more than 400 professionals responsible for advancing the company’s software strategy.
Ananthachary joins Dematic with more than 20 years of experience in supply chain technology. Most recently, she served as Vice President of Product Development at Blue Yonder, where she led the development of cloud-native, multi-tenant Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions designed to improve warehouse productivity and efficiency for global logistics providers.

Ananthachary holds a master of business administration in computer information systems from Georgia State University and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur. She will be based at Dematic’s global headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia.
