DURHAM, N.C., April 15, 2025 (BUSINESS WATCH GLOBAL) — Renewable energy company Strata Clean Energy has announced the appointment of Jason Moretz as Chief Development Officer.

Moretz brings more than 20 years of experience in infrastructure and energy project development, with the past decade focused exclusively on renewable energy. He most recently served as Executive Vice President and Head of Development at Avantus, where he led the development of a national solar and storage pipeline and supported the company’s expansion into the desert southwest.

Moretz holds a Ph.D. in Ecology from Ohio University and is a certified Project Management Professional. His expertise includes land acquisition, permitting, interconnection strategy, and utility-scale execution.
